Appliances that are at the end of their useful life will be recovered and processed by PureSphera, SORAC’s external partner, which uses leading-edge technology to recycle 96% of refrigerating
appliances components.
PureSphera has developed a seven-step process and a unique technology to recover the maximum amount of harmful halocarbons contained in refrigeration appliances and their insulating foam.
This recycling process enables PureSphera to comply with minimum standards for environmental protection, human health and safety, and best practices set out in the Device Recycling Standard.
